Dedicated To A Baby Girl

February 26, 2009

Last Thursday, as usual I reached home around 4PM from office. But very uncommon that I heard some “tatt..tatt…tatt…” sounds from the storeroom behind. I can guess my mum was definitely doing something in the room. Hmm…drilling the wall? Hammering the wardrobe? I put down my laptop bag and stepped forward to the room and saw my mum was working in front the “has-been” sewing machine. She used to be a great seamstress but she has retired since few years back due to poorer eyesight. What has been making her to go into it again? That was no surprise when I got the scene in front of me clearer. She did it for a baby girl. This was so warm. I didn’t know how to sew so what I could contribute was capturing this moment for remembrance in the future.

Hey..so who the baby girl is? Nahhh, don’t get it wrong..my mum is old enough to give birth. She is my niece that will only “show up” in May :) Stay tuned! ;)

Kek Lok Si in Moo Moo Year

February 22, 2009

Previously I was standing at the hillside opposite to Kek Lok Si to shoot the full building view and then called it a day. I didn’t really have a chance to visit it until last Friday. There was small time slot available before meeting up with Cindy for dinner together, so I decided to give it a try as I was told those lights decor that only gets lit up once a year will be turned off on 22nd Feb. If I missed this, I will need to wait for another year again.

P/S: Can you see me acting in this photo? Haha…I feel that the photo would look imbalance or unlively without an object at left bottom, therefore I decided to include myself in this shot :P
